Logistics hall – Cheb Jesenice
A new logistics centre for tyre storage was built in Jesenice near Cheb, which was implemented by Panattoni for the investor Accolade. The project was completed on time and received BREEAM Outstanding certification thanks to its emphasis on ecology and energy efficiency. Our company has supplied complete HVAC and ZTI solutions including measurement and regulation. The technologies deployed included heat pumps with environmentally friendly refrigerants, low-emission infrared radiators and a rainwater system.
The developer of the project was Panattoni, which carried out the construction of a logistics centre for tyre storage in the area of Jesenice near Cheb. The investor and owner of the building is Accolade. Due to the lack of a gas connection in the locality, it was necessary to build a separate propane farm, which is designed not only for the existing hall with an area of 60,000 m², but also for the future second stage with an area of 20,000 m². The project was implemented from May 2023 to February 2024. The hall has successfully obtained BREEAM certification at the Outstanding level, which has significantly influenced the choice of technologies and the emphasis on low-emission solutions, including the use of heat pumps for heating.
Our company provided the supply of complete HVAC and ZTI solutions, including the profession of Measurement and Control. Specific technologies were used:
- 400+ kW air-to-air heat pumps with environmentally friendly refrigerant with R454b
- water/water heat pump with environmentally friendly refrigerant with R32 for built-in heating needs
- Low-emission infrared heaters with an output of 1.5+ MW
- Domestic water distribution incl. pumping station for rainwater flushing
The project was completed on schedule and met high requirements for ecology and energy efficiency. Thanks to the combination of modern gas radiators, heat pumps and precisely controlled control for ventilation reconstruction, the required parameters of the indoor environment were achieved and at the same time the conditions for granting BREEAM Outstanding certification were met.
