Warehouse – SO.09
A logistics hall with an area of 204,000 m² was created for the investor Accolade, where we provided a complete supply of UT, HVAC, CHL and ZTI in a BIM environment. The complexity of the project consisted in ensuring a stable indoor climate in the 21 m high hall and achieving BREEAM Outstanding certification. The technologies used included heat pumps, gas boilers, split cooling and air conditioning with recuperation.
The developer of the project was Panattoni, which carried out the construction for Accolade, the owner of the land on which the hall with a total floor area of 204,000 m2 was built.
The key challenges of the project were:
- To successfully invent functional cooling and heating for a hall with a height of 21 m and a floor plan of 100,000 m2,
- achieving the highest BREEAM – Outstanding certification,
- complete project in BIM (Revit).
Our company provided the supply of UT, HVAC, CHL, ZTI professions. All design work was carried out in 3D using the Revit program
From the point of view of technology, the following were used:
- Air-to-water heat pumps with an output of over 4 MW, designed primarily for hall cooling.
- Backup stationary gas boilers with a total output of 2.2 MW for the winter period.
- Split cooling total 1.6 MW.
- Air handling units with recuperation with a total flow rate of over 800,000 m³/h.
The project was successfully completed within the required deadline while adhering to early access milestones. The technological solution has been designed with an emphasis on energy efficiency, stability of the internal environment and low operating costs.
The client especially appreciated:
- high reliability of systems
- precise compliance with investment technologies.
- consistent compliance with the requirements to achieve BREEAM Outstanding.
